Search Technorati.com to find your audience
What search engines do your key influencers use in your industry? With the growth of feed search engines and RSS, many of the people you wish to influence may now be using their RSS feed reader and feed search engines to find good content on the web. You will now have to get content into the new search engines on your keywords, its fairly easy to do inform the feed search engines you have an RSS feed and write content on a regular basis. Technorati.com is a great example of one of the new feed search engines.

My philosophy about this is that the folks at Google are pretty darn smart and they understand the value of achieving organic search engine rankings. Just as it is hard to fool Google into a top position, I would venture to say it is probably as hard to fool them out of one.

Ammon asked -- What is RSS?
is a file format that you can use to synicate your website. Converting the content of your website or blog into RSS enabls users with RSS feed readers to subscript to your stuff. Rather than going to your website they can check their FEEDs with a feed reader. My Yahoo and Google have feed readres and you can also purchase commercial products for managing your feeds from Onfolio.com.
The best place to find answers to questions like this is...

(from Wikipedia: RSS, a family of XML file formats for web syndication used by news websites and weblogs:)
