Blogging, The Most Effective Search Engine Optimization Strategy

Question: Have there been other strategies that you found effective?

Well as I mentioned above, there are five key elements of a website’s success: relevancy, architecture, user experience, call to action and link popularity. Blogging hits all five and also supports what up to now I’ve been calling a Content Strategy. Most blog systems are extremely search engine friendly. Each post is about a specific topic, which makes the pages highly relevant to a search engine. The blog culture is one that does a lot of back linking and there’s also something called a BlogRoll which is an extra special link. Good blogs tend to link to other good blogs so if you invest your time and energy into publishing good content you can leverage all of this to dramatically improve organic search engine positions.
